What we do with your answers we read them, we write back, and that is the end of it.

There is one form on this site and one email address. This page says what the form asks for, why we ask, where the answers go and how to have them deleted.

It is short because the site does very little. Nothing here tracks you: no cookies are set, no third-party scripts load, and there is no analytics package and no advertising pixel on any page. We run ads for a living and we still do not run them on ourselves.

What the form asks for every question on it, in the order you meet them.

What you need
Which services you are after: web design, Meta ads, Google ads, or not sure yet. You can tick more than one.
Required.
The business
The business name. The address of your current website. A line or two on what the business sells and to whom. Where most of your customers are.
The website address is optional.
The situation
What prompted you to get in touch. When you want it live or running. A budget bracket for the website, and a monthly budget bracket for ads. You are only shown the budget questions that match the services you ticked.
Brackets, never exact figures.
You
Your name. Your email address. Who makes the decision. Anything else you think we should know, and how you found us.
The last two are optional.

That is the whole list. We do not ask for a phone number, a postal address, or anything about you personally beyond your name and your email. There is no payment step, so no card details are ever entered on this site.

The form also carries one hidden field that real visitors never see or fill in. It catches automated spam. If it arrives filled in, the message is discarded.

Why we ask one reason, and it is the obvious one.

To answer your enquiry and to work out what a quote would look like. The budget and timing questions are there so we can tell you early if we are the wrong fit, which saves a call neither of us wanted.

We do not add you to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list. We do not send marketing email, and we do not sell, rent or share your answers with anybody. Sending the form starts an email conversation and nothing else.

Where your answers go two places, both of which we can name.

Netlify

The site is hosted by Netlify, and the form is submitted through Netlify Forms. Netlify stores each submission and emails a copy to team@jxmarketinggroup.com. Netlify processes the data on our behalf and does nothing else with it.

Netlify is an American company, so your answers are stored on servers outside Canada.

The processor.
Our inbox
The copy that reaches us, and the email conversation that follows. That is where it stays. Nothing is copied into a CRM, an ad platform or an automation tool.
Read by Xavier or Jeremy.

How long we keep it, and how to have it gone one line of email is enough.

We keep your enquiry for twenty-four months from the last time we spoke, and then delete it from the Netlify form store and from our inbox. Two years, because a quote that went quiet in March is often a job the following spring, and because a name with no date attached is no use to anybody.

If we do end up working together, the enquiry becomes part of the project record and is kept with the rest of that work. Ask us at any point and we will tell you exactly what we still hold.

You can cut any of that short. Write to team@jxmarketinggroup.com and ask us to delete your enquiry, and we will delete it from both places and tell you when it is done. You do not have to give a reason.

You can also ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct something that is wrong. Same address, same answer time.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

The draft your browser keeps so a stray refresh does not cost you three minutes.

While you are filling the form in, your browser saves what you have typed so far, using a feature called session storage. If you reload the page or go back a step, your answers are still there.

That draft never leaves your device. It is not a cookie, it is not sent to us, and it is not sent to Netlify. Your browser throws it away when you close the tab, and the form clears it as soon as a submission goes through.

What this site does not do worth stating plainly, because it is unusual.

No cookies
Not one, which is why there is no cookie banner to click away.
No third-party scripts
Every page loads its stylesheet, its two scripts and its fonts from this domain and nowhere else. No content network, no font service, no embedded widgets.
No analytics
We do not measure your visit. No page-view counter, no heatmap, no session recording.
No advertising pixels
There is no Meta pixel and no Google tag on this site. If that ever changes, it will be written here first, along with what it does.

If this page changes the date at the top moves with it.

We will update the date at the top of this page whenever anything here changes. If a change affects an enquiry you have already sent us, we will email you about it rather than leaving you to find it.

Questions about any of this go to team@jxmarketinggroup.com, which is also the address to use for access, correction and deletion requests.
